An original work of art, hand block printed by Kim Morski with her own hand drawn, hand carved designs. The artist drew inspiration from her early childhood on a farm, and the later house she grew up in, filled with primitive American antiques and folk art. One side of the pillow is a bold Morning Star quilt pattern, and the reverse is a stately, quieter pattern of horses and stars. Horses and the morning star quilt motif both suggest storytelling traditions that connect us to family, place, and heritage.
